I agree very much with "Creativity: even if the job isn’t what you would normally consider a “creative” position, it’s better to have creative people. They tend to be more positive and engaged, looking for better ways to solve the customers’ problems."
Like any business development, you have to look for progression, and hiring individuals and working with people with creative minds allows for progression to take place more often than not.

In my experience, 5,6.7.8 and 10 are the most important, but it's a good list generally.
